with the ferber method, that is. all it took was that one night of crying. tuesday night, aubrey cried when pete initially left her room, and the crying quickly dissolved into whimpering and then into cooing. she was quiet within 5 minutes and slept through the night. last night when pete left her room, not a peep. so i'm hoping for a repeat performance tonite.
i'm sure we will have to revisit "sleep training" again. classically, aubrey's sleep habits are disturbed when she's sick; when we travel; when she has intense teething pain. so it goes, i guess.
she is a MUCH happier baby when she gets a regular night's sleep! (and i am a much happier mom when my baby is happy!)
i will try to post some photos later in the week. we are still playing catch-up after such a busy weekend.
